B-2 Bomber?

am i the only one who thinks the b-2 bomber just looks unhuman, it almost looks alien compared to anything else on earth if you see a view from the side it looks like a tear drop , i was just wondering if anyone else agreed

well i was at an airshow in july its the creepiest thing ive ever seen fly over and it was silent when it was 100 feet over my head and i could barley see it on the horizon and it was hauling ***
i mean its such an unhuman look(forgive the phrase) look at b-52s and every other bomber for the bast almost 100 years then comes this super hightech and radical thing thats silent and invisible

i understand the flying wings been around for a long time but we abandend it and 30-40 years lator we have this no tail sections like our old ones and it flys perfectly

Theres only like 21 one of them made. A single plane cost some where along the lines of 2 billion dollars. B-2 are always an eye catcher at Air shows, but I've always liked the F-117s, too bad there gonna retire those in 2008 though.

The "Flying Wing" concept has been around since the 1940s. It's nothing new. The B2 just capitalizes on modern up to date technologies for metallurgy and electronics, making the previously unstable flying platform more stable. Add a radar reflective material to the skin and new electronics and you have a B2 bomber.

My favorite is the B1. It's a beautiful airplane!!!

B2 bombers are purpose built machines designed to drop bomb payloads on enemy soil the are not designed to be pretty or conform to what you say is unhuman. They have to do an unhuman job

theres a reason why it was created like that....being flat like that helps to deflect radar signals, unlike traditional fighter planes or bombers, radar signals are able to bounce off of them, thereby, sending out its location. but with the b-2. radar deflects off of it, allowing it to remain stealth.
