The people must have the right to choose what their government will do particularly attacking other countries and not only the Congress and President.

First off, you got your facts mixed up. We are in Afghanistan because of the 9/11 attacks. We did not go into Iraq because it was an unstable country. We invaded because there were false threats of WMDs. We helped South Vietnam because they were going to be overunned by communism. We don't just try and invade for that small reason of they are badly run countries. Just remember that. All countries have a limit to WMDs. We thought Iraq produced more than the UN allowed.

In order to be the most powerful country in the world, we need to stay on top of things, and winning wars is one way to do that.

As far as why are we in Afghanistan? Maybe for the WMD's, maybe for revenge for the 9/11 attack, maybe for the control of one of the world's largest sources of oil, maybe for all those reasons combined, or none at all.

The fact of the matter is, is that if we just sit around and let the bad guys/the wrong people crash planes, set bombs, etc. and attain power, especially NUCLEAR power, then we'd be fools. Nuf said.

I just love it when people call it the "myth" of WMD.

How many Kurds should Saddam have gassed before you'd believe he actually had something lethal?

(You people just amaze me at how low you can set your standards for information!)
