I think it's a great looking design. And I happen to love the lower BACK Piece TATTOO. That being said, you should get something drawn for you, maybe you did with this piece. I love the old school style, and most of my tats are based on flash, but they are all redrawn to be unique.

Before you get it, regardless of which one, there are alot of considerations, even if this is not your first tattoo.
Ask yourself if you will still want it and be happy with it in 20 years. Will you still be happy with the design? Or want something else? or none at all?
Tattoos are for life, unless you get them removed, which leaves a big ugly raised scar. The other thing to remember is, all these tattoos everyone is getting right now, in 20 or whatever years, are going to blur a little, fade a little, the edges will no longer be sharp, and they look like hell. Your friends that think they are cool will be in a different place in their lives, just like you will be. You may or may not be in touch with them. You might be in a career, have a bunch of kids, and will be settled into a life where you see it in the mirror and wish you hadn't done it.
I realize that tattoos are the cool thing to do. They are something different and everyone thinks they are kind of sexy. The problem is, they are sexy and cool for 5 or 10 years. Then, you have another 50 or whatever to live with it. The reality is, you don't need an area of your body marked with ink to be sexy or cool.
Also, if you do follow through, remember that tattoo shops are one of the ways that hepatitis C is spread, and it is often a slow and very unpleasant way to die. Alot of young people will say "you have to go sometime" and "life is a risk" and so on. The question is, is this one worth it?
It's none of my business what you do about a tattoo. However, I hope you will give my words some thought. If you follow through with your tattoo, I sincerely hope it really is something you are happy with for the long haul and don't regret.
Good luck,
Kevin

Hi, I'm a girl 24 years old (if that matters). I absolutely LOVE the butterfly, but am a bit sick of tribals and there is still a tribal-feel to that tattoo. If I were you, I would probably just have had the butterfly, maybe with some other, not so flagrant "background decoration" . The colours look beautiful against a white background, but as we all know skin is not completely white, so I don't know... usually coloured tattoos don't do it for me. Hard decision! I would propably gone for a all black one... Also keep in mind that colours fade quite a bit with time so you'll have have them redone eventually. Take care and best of luck with the tattoo!! :)

I like the tat. but get it colored white fades so fast you'll be in once a year to get it filled. Don't bother with what eveyone else thinks about your tat. Most people get tattoos to express themselves not make eveyone else happy. If you like it, then take it to a professonal so they can make some subtle changes then you can say "no one has the same tattoo as me". just remember, your back is the 3rd most painful spot to get a tat (the first and second are your ankle and the back of your neck) and depending on it's size its gonna take a while. just make sure its what you really want. . . then go for it.

It is nice, but personaly I would advise you to wait until you find something that has a lot of meaning to you, and you won't need to ask about it on this forum. A tat is for life, so you really want to think about it, a lot! Maybe get the design henna'd on and see how you like that first?
AND once again Sabresgirl, Tats are not linked to cancer. I have no idea why you are saying that all the time, but to each troll their own, I guess!lol!

Honestly I'm tired of seeing the whole butterfly tribal look. Everyone is doing it! Your tattoo should be something more original with some meaning to you! So when you look at it you will be touched by it. Flash designs really should only give you and idea of what you may like! Be creative and original about you!

well, 99.9% of girls with tattoos have butterflies on there lower backs.
if you really want it, go for it.
but if you want it to be original and different then all the other girls who have it, i say you get it done in all white. all white tattoos are amazing. they're just visibile enough, and i'm sure you'll get a wow everytime you show it off.
hope i helped!

for my area i might want to pass on your chest top above your boob the position your heart is. That way this is coated for artwork and it really is in a sturdy own position. decrease again isn't a sturdy placement for that tattoo. absolutely if I were to get a tattoo in reminiscence of somebody else it does no longer be about me, it would want to be something about the guy who gave up the ghost. something that change into their favourite or something that reminds you of him yet you may want to not in any respect get your own call tattooed on you, it basically seems stupid like you're into your self. you may want to get something that symbolizes your dad no longer what your dad referred to as you.
