I looked at myselves and someone told me it was bad for me. How is it bad? Does it cause some kind of insecurties?

I do this a lot too. It's bad only that it takes time away from other more productive things. Also, if you're preoccupied with the way you look which prevents you from doing other things. Try to ease yourself off from doing this bit by bit , when you get the urge, just distract yourself, like by thinking of something else, or finding something else to do.

It's called narcissism. It's a condition where the person is so involved with themselves that everything else is irrelevant. It's a form of selfishness and it's extremely unattractive.

Well if you just look in the mirror and tell yourself :,,Look at that loser over there , he`ll never get laid, oh sh*t thats me", yes it does cause trouble, but if you look in the mirror to see what you can do to improve your appearence and going out and acctually doing it is quite good 4 u.
