how can I change the default of opening the summary report of etabs?

Question

how can I avoid opening the summary report by wordpad and make it open by MSWORD or notepad because may pc is hanging when I printsummary report because it goes directly to wordpad

Click on the summary report only once (NO double clicking). Press and hold the Shift key and while holding it, right click on the summary report. Choose the option to Open With... and choose the program to open the file. There is an option to Always use this as my default or so. If you are sure about this, check the check box. You can always follow the same instructions here to change the default program to open the file.
