Yes I am in the right section, what has religion to say of mental disease....is it only demon possesion or something we can't yet explain?

Mental disease is like any other disease. No religious implications other than karma. It is suffering that mankind must endure. I don't believe it is demon possession

Mental disease is just a disease..
Religion look at it as part of life, part of God's test..
testing Humans' patience and enduring..
while demon possession does exist and has its own remedy which usually works.. but they are two different matters..
Religion ( at least Islam does) asks and commands people to learn and seek knowledge.. so if science can explain them ... well then great and you should seek God for cure and at the same time use the medication that science provides...but if it can't be explained..you still seek God..and try to look for solutions..

Logically one can not lose what one never had. The answers as to what religion says about mental disease varies as the sands in the desert. Those not rooted in reality will say it is of the devil; those rooted in realilty stray away from the devil and accept for what it is, an unfortunate happening that could any family within or without a religious group
