could be a miscarriage...could be a kidney or bladder stone...could be a benign fibroid tumor or cancer of uterus or cervix or bladder....birth control pills need adjusted...almost anything...not sure why you are "LOL" ...doesn't sound funny, unless you are pranking...I am taking you seriously..

The hospital ER or the urgent care might help but they don't usually do extensive tests. If you just went to a general practictioner, go to a gynecologist..that would probably be better.
Make an appointment with a gynecologist (tell them the problem, so they can bump up your appointment, if they can). If that doesn't help , then the next step would be to see a urologist to rule out kidney or bladder infections, stones or urinary tract cysts or cancer or something else there.

they could be two seprate things. The first part I read about your period- this could be from the POP (progesterone only pill). If you are not taking that or any other pill, go back to a doctor. The burning sensation could be from a urinary tract infection. I assume you mean you need to pass water again ten minutes after going? then a burning sensation? Sounds like a urinary tract infection. If you think the blood isn't from a period (being bright red?) maybe get checked up for STD's, especially if you have any sores that could be bleeding and causing stinging sensations.

Based on the burning sensation, and your feeling like you have to pee It sounds like a bladder infections (which can -->bleeding). If this is the case you will need antibiotics, but if you can't see the doctor until Monday try taking warm baths and drinking cranberry juice. It won't really hurt you, but you might feel uncomfortable.

I once had my period for 11 months...yes, 11 months straight, every single day. It turns out that I have a benign tumor on my pituitary gland, which doesn't really hurt me, but it makes my hormones work inappropriately. It is easily managed with birth control pills and other medication.

Regardless, it sounds like you should get to the doctor as soon as possible for a urine test. You can also request that they do another blood test (make sure that they test your prolactin levels). Do you have any other symptoms (weight gain, hair growth, dizziness?) Have you had a pap smear and a sonogram?

Hope you feel better soon!

If you do not like your Docs oppinion, see another doctor or a GYN
I had a friend in college who had this problem where she literally had a week in between periods and the next one would start. She started using Birth control pills and the problem was there but not near as bad, I think they only lasted 10 days total, and only a few days were considered high flow.
