No. God is not a genie in a bottle designed to answer your every wish and whim.
What believing in God can get you is eternal life, which is far more important our fleeting and short existence on Earth anyway.

Yes and no. If you choose faith, walk a spiritual path, your life will change. You will adopt a different lifestyle, pray, do good deeds, cleanse your soul and become a better person. Will God have given you a better life or will you have given yourself a better life as you bring yourself closer to God? It may not matter for God has already changed you, faith has mended you.
One thing I can tell you for sure - believing in God bring you riches and fame and love and affection. But true faith will guide you through the dark times and lift you up to see the light. You will come to view things differently, see the bigger picture, come to appreciate that which you have and so many others don't. You may become more content with your life instead of chasing someone else's.
In the end, noone has all the answers. Sometimes you just gotta take that leap of faith. You may fall, but at least you will have tried, you wil have sought the answers.

It is far better than I wanted.
Previously, I wanted to become a millionaire, owning a library of about 1,000 books, and living to about 60 years old. Now, at the age over 70, I am affluent with both physical and spiritual means beyond my need, I don't own but I can make reference through thousands of precious books in my computer and on the Internet. But I also possess so many things that I didn't think of when I was not a believer: a large and happy family, a community of intimate friends throughout the world, a clear Path to thankfully follow under the guidance of the One True God until the ordained end.

Beliveing in God isn't going to get you that huge house on the hill top, the in ground swiming pool, or the fararri that you are dreaming of. But it will however give you the relization that you are never alone. That He is there with you in all that you do. That whatever you go through. You aren't going through alone. His burden is lighter than yours and he is more than willing to trade anytime. So if you are wanting a life that is less worrysome then yes it does give you the live you've always wanted!
It's amazing how much you can enjoy life once you realize that God will never leave you stranded. In that if he provides for the birds of the field, why wouldn't he provide for you. In Christ there is nothing that you can't overcome.

Yes it can.But you have to believe withouth a hint of a doubt, it must come from your soul and be inspired by the good you want to do.You see the God that modern religion describe this days are very altered by mans view of life, there is a lot of false moralism and judjement that are more man concern than gods concern. So if you truly believe you will have inner peace and a fullfiled life all the way.Its obvious that if what you want is a life full of materialistic desiresand goals that has nothing to do with god and he will not help you in fact all the believing in the world want help you...

I believe in God to live the life God wants for me. To me God knows best and only He has the infinite wisdom to help me live a life more abundantly and fruitfully. When I stand before Jesus on my day of judgement I want Him to say to me, 'Well done good and faithful servant.'

Yes, if you:
1) Ask for something that is in accordance with His will,
2) Live according to His Word, and
3) Have faith, not doubting.
But remember, GOD's delay is not GOD's denial. We must wait on His timetable.
May GOD bless you in your faith journey.

You still have to work on it yourself, but it can save you from an empty, purposeless life that no one wants.
