Psoriasis is a disease that takes place when the body’s immune system mistakenly believes healthy skin cells to be enemy cells and starts to produce many more new cells to replace these cells. This is the reason why there is no cure for psoriasis and medications applied to treat psoriasis are only able to remove the symptoms temporarily. Don't go the "cream route", it's only just a waste of time and money. Been there Done that!

You need to read "Psoriasis Free For Life" by Katy Wilson if you want to cure your psoriasis for good. Available online also @ http://www.psoriasisforeverfree.com It's a book that shows you how to cure psoriasis naturally in a few days. I cured my psoriasis permanently in 6 days after reading this book. Good luck!

Has this been diagnosed? or is it severe dry scalp? maybe

The double whammy - dandruff flakes and psoriasis too.

Psoriasis...
is on the scalp and if it's as resistant as mine...good luck.

I have tried many treatments and home remedies including apple cider vinegar which helps soothe the scalp considerably.

I have some of the best results when I treat my dry hair to a deep moisturizing USING GOOD OLD MAYO!

For deep treatment for dry or damaged hair, use mayonnaise like you would a hot oil treatment. After applying generously to hair and scalp, wrap in a warm towel for 15 minutes or more. Shampoo in warm (not hot) water.

RINSE WELL

TRY THE APPLE CIDER VINEGAR - I GO BACK TO IT EVERY TIME MY SCALP FLARES UP - RINSE THOROUGHLY.

From About.com/
Apple cider vinegar restores the natural acid balance of human and animal skin and hair (fur, too) after washing with soaps of any kind, which are by nature, alkaline.
That means it helps fight various skin disorders, heal chapped and dry skin and soften hair. It also fights against fungus and bacterial and viral infections - another plus in the care of skin. But wait - vinegar isn't through yet. It soothes burns and itches, safely disinfects dentures, and gently fades freckles and 'age spots' over a period of time. Wow. What else could you ask for in a golden liquid? Low price? You got it.

if you think you can't live without the medicated treatments

try the Dermarest Psoriasis Medicated Shampoo Plus Conditioner

Any good dandruff shampoo should work, even with the psoriasis. I use selsun blue. Neutrogena's t-gel stinks, but it works well also.
