The front and rear rca jacks are for hooking up amplifiers. The reason you have multiple RCA's is for basically surround sound. If you are hooking up two amplifiers, say one for your two back speakers and two for your front speakers you would hook up the rca's the same, front rca to the amp handling the front, rear for the amp handling the rears, and basically you would have surround sound. If your not hooking up amps don't worry about the rca's and just hook it up the same as you did the 232.

The fitting coming out of the dash is a standard iso fitting used on all cars. Vauxhall have 3 parts: 2 smaller ones for the stereo and the third one is for the display in the dash. You can get a converter to fit the third so the diplay will display radio station or cd your listerning too - but very expensive. The display will still tell time and temperature, (if you have temp) although I`ve never bothered with that and I've always had vauxhall cars/vans. Regards to memory, red is permanent live; yellow is ignition live.
