The historical proof of humanity was very different than today, 2007, and yet no one can get behind this fact. There was only one source of power, muscle of human or animal. No one got paid to sit and think for 8 hours, there was to much to DO. There was no food preservation as there is today, no freezers or vacuum sealing devices. Medical care was beyond basic.
Yet everyone thinks that Moses used GPS to find the promised land. Marriage was rarely for love, but for truces and dealings for land.
Details of who married Cain will really help in todays world?
Refocus your concern on todays humanity, and how we do not get along as we should. None of the religions teach violence, yet we still enjoy killing, and hurting others.
All of todays teachers/leaders of all the faiths mainstream or fringe want less gossip and ankle nipping (well back stabbing to be honest) - and more ground work in the trenches type gatherings/events, that help people.
HA, I held this rant too long! LOL
Peace

Butterds, Yes I see your point. But does anyone use the "search for questions" box first to see if their question has been asked before? This may reduce repeat questions??

chucky, That's my point (well I tried to have a point) We're more advanced so I'm told - yet it just show up in our tools, not in US, mentally. Greed and power should have been under control these 2000 years.

bungyow,
How can a people take on the sin of Cain? They are totally separate, and caring people, add to that 5000 years and NONE of Cains sin is present anymore. As Jesus removed it, most likely. ???

we're not monkeys,
Technically - I'd be happier if humanity were at 2006 mentally. To be in 1300 or any other mental state - and run contries, or hold power over others is scary. 2006 was a good year for advances in social programs. They need to be world wide equality soon. Many people have stopped child labor, so yes 2006 is a solid start to advancement. Technically.

Mandy,
Well said! I am embarrsassed I am so lazy, after reading your answer. I do answer repeaters, too (I almost cut and pasted but stopped myself.); I just wondered if anyone uses the search box first before asking again about some 5000 year old point. But yes I see your point is very valid.

There are so many people on here who have yet to find the light. So in some cases yes, details of who Cain married will help in todays world. Becuase if there is one person out there who is trying to belive...but yet coming up with questions about what the bible says. Then it does matter! And you know there are alot of changes in technology since when the Bible was written. But you know it all matters. Every little word of it. And if knowing who Cain married, what happened to Job, Abraham, Noah, or Joanah, will help anyone find the light. You know I would be happy to answer the same questions a million times. Because you are right in that none of the religions teach violence. All the more reason to help others find the light right??

I can not imagine being Abraham, how do you live in a tent that is the home you carry with you where ever you go. With 300 employees, and the live stock count that he had that needed a large amount of land. He was in the midst of the land pirates of Genesis chapter fourteen and probably to try to purchase 1000 acres meant real trouble.
So he was given a Promised Land covenant for generation four, 897 years after the flood, they had a garden spot and water all their own.
No Grocery store or drug store or a supply store.
And going through the wilderness as Moses had to write six books, what a job for a computer even, and all the colors and skins he had to have, it is amazing how they did it.

the teaching will be lost in the later days. Their is alot of pastors that dont have any buisness on the pulpit. They believe they have answeres, and dont no the pour blind and pitiful. Especially these people that use religon to get money, that is so blind it's totally demonic. What is money? paper. God said render unto ceaser what is ceasors, it was his picture on it thats all. Also gold is only a metal. Man has placed value on these things. A lot of times only causing more harm than good. It;s a good way to control peole. Satan Blinds their eyes. I can ramble to.

Today we live in a different world with technique's making it easier in some way.
But some thing never change. God created the world, by man sin sin enter the world. Still there is a God and people are still open and will to learn more about the God of love. And how Jesus forgive them who accept his grace.
I sponsor one child in India. And know a few refugee child in my area. Sometimes I buy them books.

Well, we should think on the context, when reading the Bible, of course.
On the other hand, while some people may think different, the fact is that there are still prophets out there, but you can have a personal relationship with God yourself, through Jesus Christ.

I find it funny how people say we need to find Cain's demon seeds but if he killed his brother we are all from him aren't we? How ridiculous is that they do not even realize how moronic thier answers are. Religious people are looking for something they are not going to find unless they look in the mirror and see we are all the same no matter. They never will they keep just looking for some evil dude right next to them.

I can't think of a single religious leader who seems to want more 'ground work in the trenches'. It's all about money and control. Peace :)

I agree......however....my goal is to tackle my fears of religion by talking about it......I know it is frustrating at times, but most people on Yahoo are answer questions in a lot of categories and often know little or nothing more than what they were told....especially in this category.

it's is way over their heads even if they were thinking at all, God is just to almighty for some people and they don't know how to pray and seek him, and they don't know when he's speaking to them with the answerer's, they have their ipods and CD player turned on all the time in their ears and theirs no place for God to speak in all that noise....just be quite and listen...

If we do a little homework we will find out who Cain was, he was the first murderer, and his people are around today. Do you know who they are? The bible commands us to know! The serpent seed. And it is their religion that causes all the blood shed. It is pure Luciferian.
