it sounds more like there is a malfunction with the central security module or a connection to the module. to know for sure you need to take it to the dealer. there is no reset to it. the codes can be cleared if there are any, but if there are codes there is a problem. the door locks go through the secirity module. you can check the 2 grounds for the module pretty easy. remove the left hand kick panel just to the left of the brake pedal there is a green bolt going through an eyelet and screws into the sheet metal. make sure the bolt is tight and the wires can not move. you can also remove the right side kick panel to check the other ground for the module in the same manner. some f-150s had a problem with water coming into the cab under the windshield cowl panel and dripping onto the fuse panel you can also check this yourself with a good flashlight.

The pollhas been done for you. Ford has been the most ideal promoting truck for decades! Ford builds a truck to do a automobiles interest. basically evaluate the construct high quality. look on the size of the bolts attaching the mattress to the body. look on the completely boxed body of Ford. the size of the oil filter out. The fan shroud is designed to push air to the radiator, no longer basically freshen up looks. See how the doorways are connected to the cab. you are able to stand on the Ford. The Chevy salesman would get disappointed in case you try it on theirs (no longer particular in case you'd be answerable for the wear and tear). length of shocks. length of the front suspension. once you're going 4X4, i can vouch the Ford is going through muck the position Chevys slide off the line. whats up, the Chevy has a highly interior. Bur after i have been in a unmarried for 2 hours, i trust crippled. in addition they equipped an effective engine. it will be solid; that is an similar engine they have had for fifty+ years! solid HP. yet again, in a truck you want torque for pulling & hauling. that is what Ford emphasis's. in case you want to race 'Vette's basically get a Ford Lightning.

Our anti-theft system stopped reading our keys and would kill the engine thinking it was being stolen. We took ours to the dealership and they charged us about $350. I hope you find a cheaper solution.
