You mate has a spoiled pet that you can't stand. You pull out of of the drive and run over it. Do you leave it there and act like someone else done it or do youtell you mate as soon as possible?

Tell the person you're with as soon as possible, the fact that you didn't make sure to make sure nothing was there or at least make sure that the poor little animal was inside kind of makes me think that you did it on purpose, but accidents do happen. Confess because if he finds out another way, he could sue you and do all sort of other things. Take it to the vet ASAP maybe there is still hope for the little guy. Good luck!

Well trust and honesty should be part of any marriage relationship. Why do you need to lie? You didn't do it on purpose. Just communicate how sorry you are...that it was an accident and you didn't know the pet was there.
If you have any kind of relationship at all, your mate should know you are telling the truth....but own up...don't blame it on someone else.

We all have spoiled pets. Sounds like you are jealous of the animal and ran over it on purpose or at least I sense no remorse. If I were you I'd "run like hell" because if you ran over my pet I'd be looking for you in my car. You better admit it and hope for the best.

Have you seen the episode of "that 70s Show" where Eric Foreman did that same thing and backed onto Donna's cat with the Vista Cruiser and didn't tell her until way later?......I've learned from that episode it's best and safest to tell your mate right then and there when it happens.

well did you do it on purpose? or was it on accident? either way you should tell your mate this may have been a pet that you didn't care for but this was a pet that your mate loved i think it's only fair that you tell your mate the truth...they deserve to know...best wishes

Well id probably tell because im one of those people who cannot keep it on my consience. so yeah id spill it and plus if you ran over your mates pet that would be sad if he was really close to it.
