I'm getting a new computer, and I'm not sure which version I should get. I'm currently using XP Home edition.

Are there any big differences?
Are they annoying or an improvement?
Are there any huge visual differences that are going to take a lot of getting used to?
How customizable is it?

this question is a question of our time, and should be up for debate until the next release of windows (after vista).

Currently, there are too many incompatibilities (hardware and software related) with Vista for it to be practical for daily use.

Once most of these are resolved, it can truly be tested.

i in my view like Vista now. If people are recreation enthusiasts, then they hate Vista because there are not many video games for Vista, yet they do no longer understand that they could actual-click the icon and click compatibility tab, and make it properly perfect with domicile windows XP Sp2. Vista isn't as buggy because it grow to be once at the same time as it got here out. After SP1, Vista has more advantageous very much, imo.

Stay with xp you are already used to it. I have just watched the launch of Vista in London and it is clear that it will take a lot of getting used to. It's overpriced, and it has 50million correction dialogs built in for restoring any errors. I'm staying faithfull to xp.

Ya there is a big differnece :-

Although the cost fo both of them is nealy same but vista requires a high configuration.I read this moths chip article and it says that u should have atleast 2 gb of ram .Although it works in 512 also but..........................

Vista is very gud and it has a very gud look but u can get the smae thing in windows with many softwares.
