YEA! Baby food is fine to put in there, just dont fill the WHOLE kong with baby food. and only use the chicken or beef. anything else will make him sick. just a warning. also try putting some other things in there like cheese, peanut butter, or even his regular dog food or his treats. some websites even have kong recipes. you can also FREEZE the kong put a small rawhide bone in the end of the kong as like a handle and freeze it, your dog will have HOURS of fun with it while it thaws out. :) I am so GLAD to know that you give him a kong. hyper breeds like that need the brain stimulation. Also look into getting him a Buster Cube. its a cube that you put his dog food in and he has to roll it around and get the treats out. you can also change the difficulty level of it :0) dogs LOVE IT!

Baby food, natural peanut butter. My dogs go haywire for the kong paste as well. Natural applesauce (no sugar) would work also, just freeze it in the kong so it doesn't run out. Pumpkin, not the pie filling just canned pumpkin.
Half the dog food on the market has garlic but do use caution in regard to onion and read the lable. I've given baby food to mine and never had a problem

Of course it's ok. Just sounds kind of messy. Baby food is the same kind of thing dog's would eat anyways, especially if it's meat. Some people use peanut butter in Kongs, or a piece of a treat, cheese would work too.

Baby food is okay...
there are also recipes online, just search kong filling recipes. Most of them involve yogart...which you can buy in a bigge economy size..which cost less than baby food.
The online recipes are much healthier for you dogs...and will take more time and energy for the dog to eat...than regular treats.
Kong toys are a *wonderful* thing!!!
I recommend filling the Kong, then freezing it overnight. The dog will then spend more time andd energy on it....and also...it will help with teething.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aU7ds
A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

I would use one of the kong recipes, much healthier. Like the previous poster said, some baby foods contain onion which can be toxic in large doses or with extended exposure.

Not in less you want him to have diareaha. I suggest peanut butter, it's healthy for them. If not put some little treat in there or his own dry dog food.

I know that he may not be interested in too much of it but a little shouldnt hurt. I would be more apt to put a dollup of peanut butter in it.
