umm....not aware that anyone claims that they are 9'' nails.

So my conclusion. Nowhere.

The 'nails' were tapered iron spikes approximately 5 to 7 inch (13 to 18 cm) long, with a square shaft 3/8 inch (1 cm) across. In some cases, the nails were gathered afterwards and used as healing amulets.

It not written in the Bible; not every detail is written in the Bible.
But this article, The Agony of Love, under Crucifixion, tells that the nails were generally about 7-9 inches long.

It doesn't say that anywhere, although the Catholics like to use that one in their guilt-induction sessions. Otherwise it was useful when Trent Resnor needed a name for his band.
