For the last 5 years or so. I've maintained my hair so that it would grow back to the same length, but once it grows to the length I want, around the beginning of the year (january/feb) the middle of my hair falls out. It doesn't leave a bald area but the hair ends up as stubby hair that can't even be gripped!. No length to it. I don't know what to do as I'm a little fed up with it. Is this a hereditary disorder......this happens to my mother and aunt as well around different times of the year. It's quite odd. What should I do?!?! Does anyone know what this is called?

This is t he only vitamins that have made my hair and nails grow long and strong. Threw away my multivitamin. Very inexpensive too. Buy at local grocery store.
