Dear friend, people believe and think of god according to their mentality and those days people consider a God for every event, God of love, power , wealth and so on, so The God order to his peophets to tell my children not to keep a mediator and they can talk to me dirrectly but people created a caste named clergy by their ignorancy and they rull over people now

Good point/question. You are correct that the bible mentions other "Gods" in several passages. Christianity beliefs establish a monolithic God of the "Trinity" of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
It is He we are to put before any other. The all knowing, omniscient, being. As far as other "gods", His word leads me to believe there exist other beings with some god-like abilities, but the bible has no explanation of their numbers or powers. It does say they all bow down to Him, the one true God.

Well contextually there were many people claiming to follow other gods. Though the Bible clearly states that these gods are man made. God was being cultural relevant. He was saying out of all the supposed "gods" in culture, FOLLOW ME and ONLY ME.
He was not giving legitmacy to their actual exsistence. They only exsisted because of they were made up by man.
Oh oh oh...let me guess....now you will say, just like your god. I saved you an ADD DETAILS remark.

The other "gods" which are made noted are in reference to man made gods or idols. Isaiah 44:6 says, "I am the first and I am the last; Besides Me there is no God".

I think it was acknowledgement of other representations of God. But the commandment insisted that they worship only the Hebrew version.

Yep, also, in Genesis God says "Let US make man in OUR image", implying God is either schizophrenic, or there was more than one God involved in the creation of man.

Far more indicative of the belief of the jewish people in other Gods is that Genesis has God saying, of humans, "Let US create them in OUR image." Also, when he kicks adam and eve out of the garden, he says he is doing it so they don't eat of the tree of eternal life "and become like US."
