What do you think of Richard Branson's idea of awarding $25m to the person who finds an effective solution for Global Warming?
I think its fantastic!!!
I think this is the only possible way left to make the scientists work to find an effective solution for Global Warming.

I fully agree with u and disagree with the other postings so far. We should all be very very cautious about global warming and try our level best to control / reduce global warming. Try putting off electric lights, fans, air conditioners when not in use. You will not only help in reducing global warming, at the same time you will be able to save some of your hard earned money.
Regarding finding some means to lower CO2 in the atmosphere I leave it to the scientists.

If I was in possession of a single solution to global warming - which a scientific and economic study in the UK suggests will cost the equivalent of 1% of GDP per year for the foreseeable future, running to trillions of dollars - I would want a lot more than that to give it up.

Sorry to rain on your parade but it's a publicity stunt. Besides that, there's nothing that can be done about global warming unless you can control the Sun.
