I never really had acne...but my skin wasn't always so good as a teen. I finally starting using Retin-A (ask your doctor about it), and it helped so much...just by using it when my skin needed it, my skin cleared up amazingly beautifully by the time I was about 16.

I'm 28 and I still get pimples every once in a while though. I just dab a spot of Retin-A on it and it goes away almost immediately. But some people will have bad acne clear into their 30s or even later. So ask your doctor about what you can do for your skin if you're concerned.

It may NEVER disappear. You might always have to see a dermatologist to help keep it under control.

I am 42 and my skin is still very oily. It has become a little drier after around age 40 but not much. It is a constant battle.

It depends. There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://tinyurl.com/ypzvgd
