Sometimes while I am still 'up to my knees in mud' and I pray really hard and keep hoping that God will answer my prayers soon, I am so blind and do not realise he was already ansering my prayers. It is only after the thing is over that I realise that God actually did answer my prayers. And to htink I doubted Him

How would you know God has answered your prayers? If He chooses not to say yes, how do you know that Hs answer is no or that he wants you to wait a while more? How do you keep your faith going strong while you wait for His anwer?

No matter what prayer is like in our lives, whether we're seeing answers or waiting for them if we will remember our fallibility and understand that that will always keep directing us to continue to trust him then we can have assurance that he hears us. Also, when we keep our shortcoming in mind then our prayer becomes more what his will is and less our own.

If you are filled with the Holy Spirit you get a peace when your prayer is done. It may take some practice but ask God to release the Holy Spirit in your life and start practicing listening for the "Still small voice of God". Always make sure that the voice you hear agrees with scripture and with known behavior of God.

When you pray for something and it happens then God did it. Because the answer do not come when you expect it does not mean your prayer will not be answered. Just keep the faith.

He calls you up on your telephone, or your cell. If you don't have a phone, he knocks on your door. If you don't have a door, he wakes you up to REALITY.
