Hmm.. don't think I'd want to try it. But being a soapmaker, I can vouch for Ivory in one good way. If you grate it into hot water, with some borax as a softening agent, and use a whisk to mix it, and then add to your laundry, it really cleans superbly. So try that instead ok?
As far as worst tasting soap.. would probably be soap made from used beef grease/drippings. I knew a really poor lady who used to make her soap from this kind of rendered grease. I think it would taste nasty. Were you one of those kids who had your mouth washed out with soap?

So why are you sucking on soap bars? Ivory is pure and gentle, it can't possibly be the worst tasting. Have no first hand knowledge to pass along though.

my mom used to wash my mouth out with soap when i cursed. i dont remember the taste of each one, but i'm sure it all taste like depoopoo

lord no!!!!! my mama used to wash our mouths out with "lava" soap. ivory is "truffles" compared to lava soap.
