I guess all the good questions have already been asked and the idiocy just keeps repeating.

i find that so many questions on the entire y answers forum are very, very interesting. if you try to use your search engine to find out what these people are asking, you will not find many that have the uniqueness that they have here. gee, i find it very fascinating to see what people think about. maybe, like another lady says here, you might want to investigate other categories rather than religion.

i learn a lot by answering as well as by asking. what i do not care for is that some of the folks that come on to answer seem to be using this forum to ventilate a seething anger. or that they give glib one sentence answers that do not address the question.

i find nothing uninteresting with honest curiosity. or, even when the truly young people on here ask what seems to you to be a naive question. they deserve honest answers just like anyone else does.

Good God do I agree with you. Some of these questions (if they are in fact questions) are just pathetic. It's seriously not worth my time any more to try and find somebody asking something intelligent ANYWHERE on this site.

Probably because you stay in the Religion & Spirituality section, where people who believe they have answers predominate. Try looking into the other sections . . . many in the world are suffering, and present their problems to sections more closely affiliated with the nature of the problem (Family, Friends, Dating, etc.). That's where you'll see some big-time lamenting.

I'm finding loads of questions worth answering.

Be part of the solution, not the problem. Only then will you find the answer to the question you seek.

Obviously society cares more about the success of of their 21st birthday party, whether poodles pee more than schnauzers, and how do i get skinny without dieting or exersizing than on serious or interesting issues. Questions are controlled by what we care about and it seems noone cares about anything worth caring about...

maybe because people just ask because they want to see how people will reply to it, not because they actually want to know the answer, or need help with something. i think that many people use this yahoo answers thing to kill time, so they sign in, and play around, which makes the other people annoyed.

When that happens to me, I choose a different category. I skip stupid questions unless it takes a one word answer.
