I use clear vinegar, then i bring this to a boil and it seams to get rid of all the grease, then wash it out with your dish soap and water.

One word...yuck! How long have you been frying in that thing and not cleaning it? Rinse it out with hot water first to remove all the surface grease possible. Then take plain old dish detergent, yes it has grease cutters in it, and rub it full strength from the bottle all around the sides of the carafe. Let it set for 15 minutes or so then pour hot water into it. Let that sit for for another 15 minutes and then wash as you would with any other dish.

Use "Goo Gone". It works on the toughest greasy messy stains. Apply it with some Bulldog steel wool and it'll be squeaky clean.
