As one of Faith, I not only Support the Scientific Method but relish in that which they are able to prove. None of that which has been proven is inconsistant with my belief. I am not thretened by it in fact I wish more organizations would subscribe to it.

Science and the Scientific Method have nothing to do with faith and so far have only confirmed certian natural laws which are constant with (as they are) the Laws of God. Truth is eternal, unchanging. I applaud the efforts of Man to prove or disprove it.

Don't get me wrong I am not a Christian conformist. But as one who studies and applys the scientific method, I do not see any contridiction with Faith in Theory.

Why is this such a rub with Atheists?

Because atheists are militant materialists...they have no capacity to question materialsm (the belief that the cosmos is an absolute).

Can they prove that the cosmos is an absolute? No. The claim that the cosmos is absolute is based on the tautology 1=1 (i.e. f=ma, etc.). SCIENCE CANNOT PROVE 1.

Atheists define science according to materialism. Evolution is an illusion created by materialism. They ask us to define God in terms of materialsm. And so on and so on.

In short, atheists just don't get it.

For me, contradictions in the bible are a major milestone in belief. Personally I think you need to be a bit more detailed to get the response you're looking for.

Latino Lifestyle Gets a big, fat thumbs-down because he points to a website that says Science, said the world was flat. The world was flat by religion, then proved spherical by science, then deemed flat by those who proposed that a spherical Earth is heresy.

The basis of faith is belief in something that is unproved. That's just... what it is. Something that's been scientifically proven has gone through the scientific process, and is an undeniable fact that doesn't require faith to be believed in.

not in case you comprehend something about atheists. Atheists: there is not any information for the existence of a god, and significant information adversarial to the existence of one, quite the logically inconsistent ones defined by technique of maximum religions. hence, till you practice in the different case, the purely sensible position is appearing as if one does not exist. that is not something like faith.

I don't think you understand the scientific method then.

Science is believing what you have evidence for. Faith is believing in things you have no evidence for.
