It's the knob or screw that says gain -/+

I assume that it's just a power amplifier, and that you can't find a knob that looks like a volume control knob. That's because all of the audio control is done on the car radio or CD player that you feed into your amplifier. There probably aren't any adjustments that you can make on the amplifier itself.

I presume this is a mobile amp were talking about... look for the one that says "gain" and please dont turn it up all the way.. unless you really WANT to replace it in a month or so, 2/3 power is the absolute highest you should turn it up to.... anything more and your amp will run very hot, burn out, and piss you off!! I'm trying to save you some money here so please heed my warning... or don't, youll see!

It probably doesn't matter any more. You must have blown out your ear drums....
