Not until this crazy president we have gets his oil based puppet government in place, but when that happens the quick false flag from the "Iranians" will just spill us into another one right next door.

All signs and indications aspect to a substantial drawdown of U.S. troops in Iraq in 2007/2008 — per chance to fewer than one hundred,000 through 3 hundred and sixty 5 days's end. besides the undeniable fact that it is a few distance from particular at the same time as there'll be added cost reductions, or a finished pullout, after that. in reality, it now looks like the U. S. would have a lengthy-time period and critical militia presence in Iraq.

I believe the War in Iraq will take many years to complete, but I don't believe America will still be there when the war comes to a conclusion. The inability of the American people to stand behind a cause and the ability of our press to bash our troops and demoralize the American people will cause the American government to bring the troops home. I do believe that the Naval prescence and Air prescence in the region will continue for years to come.

My guess is the war won't end for another few years. Iraq is such a ****** up country right now. Military's primary role over there now is training the Iraqi people how to govern themselves but they (the iraqis) are too dependent on the US Military. As soon as Iraq is stabalized then we should be getting pulled out. But its hard to stabalize the country when you have 2 iraqi sections (sunnis and shiites) fighting for majority control.

If you believe the next president is democrat and that president will bring our troops home, then wait for it! For most of us, the most important thing is the return of our troops; whatever happens to our reputation and the defenseless Iraqis cannot cross our mind. Therefore, I believe the terrorists will end this war soon. God bless your husband because he has done a great job in protecting the poor Iraqis and us from the wrath of devils!

As a serviceman I'm kinda limited on comments i can say but i will say this; I would like this to be over soon so we can all breath a little easier. Family separation is very hard on both parties as you well know. My advice is that if your husband is not over 10 years to look to the civilian sector for stable employment. Veterans are in high demand these days. But thats a decision that you and him will have to make. He like me knows that its a duty and an honor to serve this great country, even if that duty carries him far from home. Best wishes to ya'll and god bless.

There is virtually no way this war will end before January 20, 2009 when BushCheney are gone. Nixon could have had the same terms he settled for a year before it finally ended in Viet Nam. Meanwhile there over 10,000 dead soldiers, with nothing to show for it.

I'm not sure. I think the next presidential election may bring a Democratic President who would maybe scale down the number of troops in Iraq at least. I wish it would be over soon and that every American who wants to be on American soil could be. Thanks to your husband for his service in the military. I do appreciate our servicemen and women.

no I really don't think it will end anytime soon. we are setting up to occupy that country just like south korea. there will be soldiers there for the next 50 to 100 years.

If your husband can have him get out. you will be better off in the long run.

I did it. and happy i did.
