With our media displaying daily images of religeous fanatacism, fundamentalism and intollerance, has the Christian community become too apathetic, lazy and cowardly to respond?

What would it take beyond 9/11 for the Christian world to respond in kind?

This isn't about political leaders sepsonding aka Bush's response. This is about a response of the religeon. Its not that many years ago that the Vatican and other Christian leadership would have called for a response.

I guess the bottom line is "What would it take to push the Christian faithful into a Crusade?"

If they knew it was an inside job would they be fanatical or apathetic . None Christians seem to hold the balanced middle of the road.

Peace is what this world needs. Not the encouragement of more fanatics, especially more christian fanatics. 9/11 was a tradgedy, but was also preventable. We need to look at the key sources of the problems we have with the middle east. Instead of forcing THEM to conform, I think the United States (not the religious groups) needs to start making changes on how it treats this world. Americans are not arrogant people, because we separate church and state. Religion can never rule this world, because there are too many religions practiced in this world. Talking through our differences is the safest and fastest way to peace, not a build up of polar opposites!

First and foremost it would take open discussion and diologue. For that YOU would need to take some basic classes in learning English, Grammar, sentence structure and I hope in the name of God there are classes that would teach you how to ask a question.

A crusade. Seems to me that recently those who have been on a crusade are crusdaing for political purposed. Maybe they ahve forgotten what religion is about.

Maybe you should start a crusade and bring the followers back to what God wanted them to abide by.

Ten Commandments ring a bell?!

Good Luck in Life!
