'Rockwool' is a brandname for a fire-proof insulation product. It is made from natural products. I think Rockwool is a Danish company.....other names...stone wool, mineral wool, glass wool.

Rock wool is different from fiberglass. Rock wool is made from natural minerals like basalt or diabase. I know of no other name for it.
