SHAVING has noo affect on hair growth! It wont do anything but make it shaved!
That is a MYTH ....M-Y-T-H
usually if you shave your legs or something the hair growth comes back thicker because you are maturing and the hair changes regardless of your shaving pattern.

I will say that you have so many hair follicles and as long as you don't remove them your hair should grow back nicely. I have been shaving the hair on the front of my head for almost 50 years and my beard doesn't seem to change if I decide to grow it long for a while or keep it cut smooth everyday.

I've heard shaving anywhere makes for thicker. Experience tells me it makes for no difference.

it would grow back the same, all shaving does is cut it, it doesn't cange the root. When you shave your legs or something like that if only looks thiker because you cut the worn ends off and clean ends come in. Hair on your head has (probably) already been cut off clean.

Cutting the hair has no effect on thickening or thinning of the hair.
Anyway, if you want your hair to be thicker, make sure you buy shampoo specialized in doing so. If you're unsure, ask the counter lady.

I have done it twice, and the answer is THICKER!! Last time, my husband noted that "It takes a village to shave your head!" after we went through 3 disposable razors.

The thickness of your hair will not be altered. Shaving your head will not create more hair folicles...or lessen the amount you already have. It also will not change the natural texture of your hair.
