well i asked her out and she said i'll think about it and then after a week her friends told me she said no. But after that whole thing she began to be really shy around me and we don't really talk anymore. she looks at me alot during class and turns away when i look. did she say no to hide that she liked me? she also trys to get my attention alot. i'm just not sure what to think anymore. does she like me?what should i do?

Sorry buddy, hate to say this but she doesn't like you. Shes shy because she knows that you like her and she thinks that will be (and probably is) awkward to talk to you. She gets your attention a lot because she feels bad for rejecting you, so the only thing you can really do is try to get over her.

There are several possibilities here...
1- Her friends told her that she shouldnt go out on a date with you (who knows why... girls are mean)
2- She was to shy to say yes
3- Shes insecure
4- She really doesnt look at you that way but feels bad
NOW, Id say that with Valentines Day coming up you have a chance to be bold and to take a risk. The question you must ask yourself is.... Is this girl worth possibly making a fool of yourself if she really isnt interensted?
If she is worth it.... Go and buy3 fire roses (pink roses with red tips or yellow with red tips... I call them fire roses... not a technical name) on Valentines Day give them to her and write in the card, "Hope your Valentines Day finds you smiling." and when you hand them to her ask her staright out.... Be very specific, "I was wondering you would like to go to a movie with me on Friday night"

God, Ya gotta love the Dating games. Okay this one is Tricky. There are four or five things this could be.
It could be she likes you but worries about what her friends think.
It could be that she has ex. b/f issues and doesn't want to bring you into that, but dose like you.
It could be she just wants to tease you, that now that she knows you like her that she wants to maintain the image that she gave you to make her seem attractive to you.
It could be she likes you but doesn't think your serious.
It could be She doesn't like you and now she worries she's giving the wrong signs and is worried about it, so she goes out of her way to be nothing like whom she was before.
But I'm not sure... Ask her, Tell her you want her to be up front with you, that if she's not interested why, Why she didn't tell you to your face, and ask if she still wants to be friends, and if your Okay with that tell her that your fine with putting all of this behind both of you.

Think about looking for another girl to date--this one girl is too shy or insecure to say no to your face--it's OK you won't explode--she just doesn't have the grace to say what she wants to say.You all must be kids and the teen dating scene is very awkward. Just stop looking for an answer, say HI and be nice--she is uncomfortable right now--leave her alone and stop talking about it.If you just go on about your days like nothing happened, you all will be friendly again---welcome to the world of teen dating---it is real odd and we all went through it. u should step up your game and just ask her. i dont know how old u are... so u might be shy but i know i would like it if a guy just came up to me and was like "look i dont have time to be waiting around so if you can just give me an answer i can either move on or take things from there" but if your 2 shy... write her a note

Hmmmmmmm! My answer is to forget about the girl and put your heart and head back into your books.
The truth: It could be a lot of reasons that she is acting like that and you would do well to just file that under N for not interested and put yourself into schoolwork.

well one factor is how old you 2 are, she might be one of thse girls that are boy crazy, but dont want to show it, its happend to me, she most likely does like you... hows about you trying to get her attention? Try sneaking something special into her locker or valentines box that shows that you like her, like a poem or a flower, personalized jewelry works nice too...Plus the girl i am dating right now didnt like me at first, but now she grew to be nuts about me, so youll never know what will happen

I think she likes you but she's scared to be in a relationship and by her trying to get your attention she wants to see if you'll be persistent which would give her another chance to say yes

When I first started reading your question, I thought...no, she doesn't like you. However, after reading the whole thing, maybe she does like you. Ask her out once more, if she still says no...leave her alone.
