OK Yoda, you are the Jedi master, what do you think?
Because War is human choice, Starvation is human degradation of natural resources and disease is God loving the souls of virus' and bacteria. Bacteria especially is beneficial and deadly. bacterias break the dead into soil providing the building blocks for new life.
The only constant is change.
Natural "disasters" were here before modern life. they change and shape the Earth and bring nutrients to flood planes, create islands and new land masses, Trigger the growth of new plant life etc. All that you see is but an illusion.

If your child has the habit of stealing toys from other children, you may deprive him in order to help him develop detachment. According to South Asian thought, this life is but a play acted out on the stage of time, and we actors are all playing various roles in various costumes (bodies). When we watch a movie, we may experience so many emotions in connection with the plot and the characters played out by the actors. But when the movie is over, we understand, 'this was all fictional'. Time does not make things false, but temporal, and thus insubstantial. Life's greatest, most insufferable characteristic is actually not war, famine, disease, but rather transience. Nothing lasts, no matter how much we may desire it. The good news is, this applies to suffering as well. So, be detached. War, starvation, and sickness exist because we are not meant for this temporal world, in all of its transient character. We are meant for something else, Love. But this cannot be mediated effectively in the transient world, and so, we must learn to love God within, and learn detachment from external circumstances. In fact, if we all learn detachment, we will see that practically, the world becomes a better place to live, and finally, the kingdom of God will become revealed. But so long as we hold onto the world, trying to claim it as our own, it will recede into time, and we will be torn from it. Man must give up clinging to his finite life, so that he might gain it eternally.

Its not God's fault that there is starvation in the world. Many give to charitable causes... but that food etc does not go to the people that need it the most. The governments are so corrupt, they allow the starvation of their citizens, not God. War is started to kill off a majority of population in one given area. Do a search on why wars started in the first place... think you will be shocked in what you find. Sickness is caused my man, not God. Do a search on how many of the diseases form. It is not by God but man. Man has to experiment and then test it on humans, without finding the cure for it first. i.e. HIV was a virus created by two men... who tested it on poor people in Africa... without having a known cure for it. Now look at it.. its in every country worldwide. Cancer has been here for generations, only no cure is found.. yet one lady had the cure but her government would not approve of it cause this would mean the doctors would be out of work, the pharmacist would not have a job.

if your refering to GOD based on christianity, then the common belief is that god gave us the right to choose our own destiny. How to live our lives. Starvation and Sickness is a part of our world and will continue be.

It is because God loves us we are still living in society otherwise there will be more chaos in the society.
War and evil happens because we set God aside and want to run our business with ourself not realisingthat ultimately we are dependent on God ( a fact we do not want to accept that we are dependent being).
The other reason for evil is that we misuse our freedom and do not want to take responsivility for our actions.

You sound like Yoda. When you think about it, it's amazing that there is enough food in the world for everyone. BUT we don't share it well. God could force us to share it, but where would he stop? Sickness is often caused by excess in some countries while other countries go without. We hurt ourselves.

If it was Adam’s decision to disobey God that brought sin into the world, why do we ALL have to suffer punishment?
If we are honest with ourselves, we will realize that Adam is a fair representative for all of us. If a perfect person in a perfect place decided to disobey God’s rules, none of us would have done better. Romans 5:12 says, “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.” We all inherit Adam’s sin nature. We all sin, so we all deserve to die and suffer eternal punishment in hell. We must understand that not one of us is innocent before God. Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Not one of us is worthy to stand before the Creator of the universe because we would each bring a sinful, rebellious nature into His presence.
In the beginning God completely sustained His creation without blemish. That’s why it was perfect. He held every atom together in a perfect state. He kept the planets in their orbits. He kept animals from tripping and breaking their necks. He did not allow people to suffer and die.
Deuteronomy 8:4 gives us a little glimpse of how things might have been in the original creation. “Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years.” God is omnipotent and perfectly capable of sustaining and protecting his creation.
When Adam sinned, however, the Lord cursed the universe. In essence there was a change and along with that change God seemingly took away a little bit of his sustaining power and allowed things like suffering and death into His creation. Now He permits bad things to happen—and this is a reminder that sin has consequences and that the world needs a Savior. Romans 8:22 says, “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.”

God took pleasure in all of His creation ("http://bible.gospelcom.net/bible?passage=revelation+4:11&version=NKJV"), but He loved people most of all. He allowed the created universe to deteriorate so we would see the consequences of our sin. If we did not see the consequences of our sin, we would never see that we need salvation from our sin, and we would never accept His offer of mercy for our sin. Most people easily recognize that there is a problem in the world. This can be used to show them that there is one who has overcome this problem of death and suffering—Jesus Christ.
