it will be fine defrost and roast ,trim off any freezer burn bits as these will be dry Try not to leave in the freezer for so long I think 6 months is maximum as it is costing you to keep it frozen so not economical and the taste does not improve label and turn over all frozen goods periodically You need to clean freezer and defrost at least annually so organize and enjoy............

It could be OK. Check it for signs of freezer burn (a white-ish off color). If it has freezer burn, you can cut off that part of the meat that looks bad. Then just be sure it smells alright as it thaws.

If it doesn't have freezer burn it should be OK. Personally, my wife would've thrown it out after 2 months.

If the color has not changed (darkened) it is fine to eat, especially if slow roasted with heavily flavored herbs and spices. Lots of onion and garlic make anything taste good.

Uh, personally, I wouldn't eat anything that's been seating there for over a year.
But it was in the freezer, so its actually safe. Your choice.

Uh....as long as it was wrapped really really good, no leaks for air to get in. Otherwise I'd say toss it.
