I once started to fill out one of these - when I realized that I had to sign up to get mail and notices from their sponsors, I aborted the entire thing - too late. They already had my e-mail address and I got about 50 e-mails that day alone. DON'T do it!

There's a hook.
When you read everything, there'll be an asterist (*) which leads you to some small print which will be a statement like "conditions apply", or "terms apply" which translates into: "we're gonna' get a LOT of information from you, keep sending you advertisements from our business friends, and you'll tell us the names and emails (or more) of a bunch of people you know so we can contact and bother them as well in the hopes that somebody somewhere will buy something from us, then we'll let you enter THE DRAWING or THE CONTEST for the ipod/laptop and you might (or likely not) win."
No, it's not safe, you'll never get them to leave you alone, and you won't win. Ever met anyone who did?

confident for all time. There usually area provides via fact I certainly have a pop up blocker. now and returned they're genuine yet maximum of they time they are no longer. no count if or no longer they finally end up providing you with the loose merchandise or no longer however you finally end up signing up for uneeded stuff and now and returned in case you persist with for the loose merchandise you get viruses, unsolicited mail, and now and returned you get some own training stolen. So my suggestion is to easily no longer click on those.

You will probably get struck by lightning before you win, they get info from you that creates more spam and in the long run is not worth the hassle.

Nope, not true. They ask you for your email address and then fill your inbox with junk emails. There is a chance you can get viruses from them.
