the high schools here offer preschool. .. the high schoolers are taking a child care class, and the preschool is part of their ciriculum. There are adult teachers there to supervise the high schoolers. It was a GREAT program!! $200 for the school year. The park district was $700 for the school year! Same amount of days and hours as the high school.

My daughter goes to a Montessori and we pay $220 a month. She goes Tues through Fri, from 1230 to 3. It's more than alot of other preschools, but they teach a lot more to the childs level than most other school that teach to the group. And it's only 6 or 7 students per teacher, which is a lot better than any other school we looked at.

i found a great Montessori school for my son a couple of weeks ago and they are the most reasonably priced for the quality (but i did quite a bit of searching before i found a good one). He goes from 9-3 on tuesdays and thursdays and they include lunch and snacks and i pay 80/week, when i add another day it will go up to 110, if he went 5 days a week it would be 145.
home daycare is obviously less expensive but is more like babysitting than school a lot of times.
Church programs are usually a little less expensive than standard preschools too.
The chains like 'Tutor Time' and 'Kinder Care' are always very expensive but come with features like being able to check in on your child online on their webcams.

It runs the length of the school calendar year for 3-4 hours a day depending on where you choose to take your child. There are private providers and public providers. There are Montessori Schools. it's wonderful! My 3 year old starts in the fall.

I am paying Eight Hundred Rupees Monthly in Bombay. It is depends on you, how much you want to spent on your child. My poor friends are not paying even one rupee on their child. They are sending their children in Municipal's (Govt.) School where education and books are free. Even govt are giving biscuits and milk to them. I am paying them one rupees as their pocket money so they can enjoy their school time. I can give more than one rupee but I feel that it will hurt echo of my poor friend.
