I think it is ridiculous myself. Everyone comes here for advice not be be attacked. Last week I was reading about someone who was scared because they found out they was pregnant, and someone had the nerve to reply saying have an abortion! I could not believe that! People just do not make good use of this kind of stuff which is bad cause they dont have no respect for anyone. I think if they are not being serious when it comes to answering questions, they should not be allowed to do so.

I joined to answer questions and post questions that contained at the very least the essence of intelligence. When I find a question that has not been posted by a complete idiot I attempt to answer it to the best of my ability. Some people post silly rhetorical questions or questions that show less thought than an infant. In these instances I feel it is my obligation to belittle the asker. Perhaps with the realization that they're morons, they might not be so quick to post other mind nullifying questions on the internet..... crybaby.

When I see a serious question I always try to answer in a serious way. But come on, have you seen some of the questions people post around here? If people can't take the time to use proper spelling (and there is a spell check) or grammar, it's pretty hard to take them seriously.

Because people who aren't satisfied with their own lives have a need to make fun of other people. You know the bullies on the playground when you were five? Yeah, these are those people who never grew up.

I partly agree with you. I think if someone disagrees or doesnt like a persons question, they shouldnt answer. But have you seen some of the questions on here? Some of them are sexist, or pedophillic, or perverted, or asked just to get people upset, or arent even questions at all, or just plain stupid, like "Could I be pregnant?" What kind of question is that?! Duh, if you have sex, pregnancy is a possibility and anyone who doesnt know that shouldnt be having sex. It can get really irritating.

I think that you may be over reacting here. Sometimes people ask the dumbest questions and they deserve a sarcastic answer. Also, sometimes people ask questions just to get people worked up. If people aren't willing to hear all opinions sarcastic, mean or otherwise than they shouldn't ask. Sorry but that is just how it is.

at first, giving somebody a thumbs-down vote isn't comparable to bombing a medical institution and killing people. I agree that making merciless or racist/sexist comments isn't acceptable. besides the indisputable fact that, no longer all "detrimental" solutions are meant to be merciless or malicious. sometimes the respond is purely "no!"; different situations, the guy answering the question is attempting to help the different guy or woman see that the duty for what's occurring interior the existence of the questioner rests with the questioner, and that would desire to sound detrimental to 3 people. further; no longer truthfully all people share the comparable "opinion". announcing somebody is ignorant purely simply by fact they opt for to voice a different opinion (including balloting somebody down) sounds quite...um, detrimental to me.

If I can find an idiotic question, I'm only too happy to give an idiotic answer. When I see someone who is sincere in their question, I either avoid it or answer in a responsible manner.
