The late great President, Franklin D. Roosevelt said, "There is nothing to fear, but fear its self" . that is very appropriate here. Congrats conquering your fear of fear. Have a GREAT flight. Report back how it went!

I've been flying since i was 16 years old and my first one was a long one at night, 10 hours. After that i flew often NY Rio de Janeiro, until i took a flight from Florida to NY and realized how high we were. Since then, it's been very hard for me to fly without being anxious. But last time i went to Miami, me and my friend were friking out and this lady turned to us and said," I've prayed for everyone in this flight, and we are gonna be ok". After that every time i take a flight, i say a prayer and i feel very calm. I also do my prayer while the plane is taking off, as a sign of respect for such a dangerous part of the whole event, which is the take off. I've always thought of as not logical for humans to be 40 thousands of feet in the air, specially at night. I'm glad you lost your fear, i know i lost mine, thank God...Peace

Hope so. Flying is fun.My father was a pilot when I was growing up and we used to fly all the time. I miss it terribly now. Would give bout anything to go flying with my dad again.
