this guy has liked me since last year and i liked him too and after vacation he asks me out...but things change over vacation i find him smoking out side of school( hes a thug type).The next day i break up with him and now he aways gives me a mean look and it scares me.... SHOULD I GO BACK TO HIM TO MAKE THINGS BETTER?

No, don't let him intimidate you. Surround yourself with your friends, let them know what has happened. But make sure that they wont make it worst.

As you grow older you will find that going with your gut instincts are a pretty way to go. If you think he is a thug and bad news, he certainly isn't your type, so since you are away from him--stay away--don't worry about a look or anything like that--just ignore him. If a hello isn't too good, just keep on moving--he won't be around forever--just ignore him. Good that you found him undesireable now, instead of later and it might be harder to get away from him, ---be careful and go easy with these guys---pick your guys with care--go for the best--but never be intimidated by any of them. In areas where you find him, go with a friend. Who knows what he's going to do to you next? Make sure you're not always alone. Being a thug, he might kidnap/hold-up/rape you. Make decisions for yourself.

Definitely DON'T go back to him. You said he's giving you mean looks. I know it's nice to have a boyfriend but why would you want one that scares you and could hurt you? If you go back you could start a pattern of abuse that's hard to break. Please be careful and remember that you deserve someone that will love, respect, and treasure you.

that would only be inviting trouble. he is just trying to intimidate you. get your friends to get your back and ignore him. its a power game and if you ignore him or smile when he looks mean it takes his power over you and eventually he will stop.
