Hanbok is commonly worn traditional clothing of Korea. There are male and female hanbok. They look very different.

Go to the first website for information on hanbok.

The second has historical Korean clothing.

Hope that helps!

The name for both men and women is the "hanbok" as you have been told. The women's dress has two parts: a short top ending just under the breasts, and a long skirt from just above the breasts all the way to the floor - these are the "chima" and the "chigori".
