Sarah's mother is actually Vera. U see everyone thought that Vera was dead after she fell down a cliff on a family picnic but it was actually Brian who pushed her off because she was about to take over his fashion business. But little did he know that she survived and had some plastic surgery done and re-appear as Sarah's mother to take vengeance. Brian of course has no idea. Sarah is in on it.
