Beer contains ethanol, which is a diuretic. It acts on the kidneys via inhibition of vasopressin, a hormone, which results in losing more water in urine than is taken in with the beer. Result is a net water loss.

The sugars in the beer and alcohol actual dehydate your system.

You need to drink so much water to replish, problem is, your not thirsty!

After you drink, force yourself to chug water, all you can, and take two aspirin, you will wake up so recovered!

Beer is an alternative for liquor, because it has lot of water to make sure that you're not deyadrated...that's why you have to drink a whole 6 pack to get drunk..

I agree with traderb, after a night of drinking, drink a *lot* of water before going to bed, it'll cut down on your morning-after headache...
