The New Testament God is a loving and merciful God. He loved kids, so why would he be in favour of abortion. He said, "suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for such is the kingdom of God" (Mark 1,14).

I think you need to look at the context of that verse. and while your at it, read Psalms 149: 13-16

God knows when and how each and every one of us will die (that is if you believe in God and believe what the Bible says). That said... of COURSE God wants all those embryos aborted. You think anything happens in this world that he DIDN'T already know was going to happen? You think anything happens that he doesn't allow? You think anything happens that he desires not to happen?
