Help me!!!!!!!! okay i really like this boy alot! and he likes me we have just recently like starting yesterday emailing eachother, and he asked me what i was doing this weekend i dont know if thats his way of asking me out or if hes just asking casually, i relly like him and i think he likes me too we talk together a lot and i always find him looking at me and smiling then when i catch his gaze he doesnt look away he keeps his gaze there for a bit then i or he lo0oks down, he matches all my expectations but! i dont know if i should tell him my feeling like in person or on a valentine card or if i should wait for him, HECK i dont even know if he likes me i am not sure!
but the main thing i want to know is this:
BY SAYING "WHAT ARE YOU DOING THIS WEEKEND?"
IS THAT A SHY GUYS WAY OF ASKING A GIRL OUT OR IS HE JUST BEING CASUAL?

but the problem is i have never been in a relationship before i am 12 and in 7th grade, so i dont have experience, he is a really shy quiet guy i dont know why i am attracted to the quiet people but i dont really want to ask him out myself because i want it to be special ya know? i dont know if it iis a friendly gesture or what i am so confused!!!!!!!

It's his way of asking you to see if you are interested without putting himself out completely on a limb. A shy person would test the water with something like that to see how you respond. If you say "I'm going out with my boyfriend" or something like that, then he'll probably not say more. But if you say "nothing" then he may suggest something for the two of you together.
If you like him, then there' snothing wrong to say that you weren't doing anything and ask him if he had anything in mind. You'd be making it a bit easier for him to approach you, if he was really wanting to, without actually asking him out.

He is asking you out and don't worry about him lowering his gaze when you look at him he is probably just nervous. If you like the guy than don't wait till Valentine to tell him what your plans our go out and have a blast.

That means he does not wanna ask you out straight probably afraid of rejection, this way he is giving you a way out if you don't wanna go out with him without getting rejected. In other words if you say you are busy it means you are not interested in going out with him, however if you say you are free, most likely he will take it as a hint that you want him to ask you out, and he will.Your call. good luck.

i think that is kind of a lead up to asking u out. i think this guy likes u. if he doesnt ask u out like in the next 36 ours, i would do sumthing for him on vday, so he can see that u like him. and then after he gets the valentine or w/e tell him that u like him. soo its like ur giving him and hint, and then telling him the answer, that u like him!

how old r u seriously???? grow up! r u liek 12 or sumfin if hes saying it like we shud do sumthing this weekend then it means sumfin but if hes jsut saying it like what are u doing then maybe not cuz friends say it all the time but never mean anything...just go sumwhere with him meet up n go from there but seriously u have to grow up 1st even if ur like 20 u must be really stupid

that is the way my husband first asked me out and we have been happily married for 3 years and together for 5 so i would say yes thats his way of asking you out
