it's one of my favorite topics....

It's true that nobody is born with a soul, but certain few people do develop over the course of their lives....if not a soul in a superphysical sense, then at least a lifetime of experience and impact that marks them with a noticeable depth to their character that some may call "soul", or at least spiritual.
Music is frequently spiritual for me.
My family are too.

Spirituality to me is represented in two things:

1. The connections that people can have with one another in families and in communities;

2. The internal awe at the splendor and complexity of the universe.

Both of these warm the "cockles of my heart," and I need no deity to expand on them or add to their meaning.

First, NH Baritone mostly nailed it.

But I'll admit to getting a lot of enjoyment from poetry, and in particular ecstatic poetry by the Sufi poet Rumi, who was clearly writing about his perceived relationship with not just his beloved friend, but also his beloved God. I think it is wonderful that our brains are so rich and so capable of forming such deep emotions. Wonderful and dangerous, but indeed wonderful.

Seriously,Spirits are for ghost stories.
The closest thing to a soul I believe in is the human brain.

Since I don't believe in spirits or souls, I have no need for spirituality.
