I'm 25. Four weeks ago I had all four wisdom teeth removed. About 10 days ago the tissue to the inside of the lower left socket became a t tender, as if bruised but no discoloration. Still is like that.

About 6-7 days ago I noticed that when I swallow, My throat "pops" or "grinds". There is no lumps or bumps on me neck, no pain, n change in voice, it's just damned annoying.

It won't happen all the time through, just most of the time. Also, If I turn my head to the right, it won't do it, nor when I look up and swallow. Help! It's driving me crazy!!

I'm pretty sure it's not a dry socket, especially being so long after the actual removal.

I just included it in case it had something to do with my throat swallowing thing, thats my main concern.

I've been having a bit of sinus congestion and flem in my throat, would that been the cause somehow?

Woo buddy don't go over the edge on this. Ur wisdom teeth R very big, the root is over twice as long as the tooth, they take up a lot of room in Ur mouth. Point is U have/had some large empty sockets in Ur gums. U every heard of dry socket? I'll send U a couple of sites so U will better understand what is going on. At 25 those were large teeth. http://www.dental-101.com , http://www.medicinenet.com & http://www.webmd.com . Relax it does take a while 4 U 2 heal, keep in mind & I'm sure U do, that U had all 4 pulled. Well I hope this helps put Ur mind at ease knowing it will stop. Hang in there.

Sometimes glands get swollen after infections and will go down after a while. There is some stuff connected between your jaw and ear... I want to say it's something to do with the ear canal but I can't remember. You might have an ear infection and should have it checked out.

It could be because of a viral infection. Sore throat is usually due to a viral infection. Gargling with warm salty water or mouthwash can reduce the pain and inconvenience. You can find some good home remedies at http://ailments.in/sorethroat.html

If its not gone by now I'd visit your dentist - wisdom teeth are really hard to extract and can fuse with your jaw. Occasionally when a dentist is removing a wisdom tooth he/she can actually dislocate or break a jaw (that's why they take xrays first - to check)
