You didn't mention what you got for each member of his family. Are you just having fun with us, or are you so shallow and insincere that you need gifts to "prove" someone likes you? Besides, they're giving the greatest gift they have - their son.

That does not happen.
Nobody's boyfriend's parents give their son's girlfriend a Valentine's present. None of mine did and I don't know of any who do.
It has nothing to do with liking you or not. It is just not done.
