She's presenting herself to the world wide web as a single girl. I guess after dating you for a few months, she doesn't see the 2 of you as a couple. Yet or never, time will tell.

Yeah seriously, as what the first person said. It's MySpace. Grow up. Just because he doesn't proclaim is status with the entire world doesn't mean he feels anything less for you. It's an immature site now filled with stalkers and weirdos. Who the hell cares??!?!? If it previously said "In a Relationship" and now it says "Single" then I would ask him what the deal was. But unless he's hiding you from his friends or denying to everyone that you're dating him then you really need to not look into the deeper meaning of the "Myspace relationship status." Also there is a big difference between dating and being someones girlfriend. Has he asked you out? Has he said "do you want to be my girlfriend?" if not its possible hes dating a few girls and trying to determine which one he likes the most and determining which has the best gf potential. In that case, yes, he's single.

Technically she is still single, unless you're planning on marrying her soon. Also, if you've only been going out a few months, she might not be ready to make that declaration just yet. It is just myspace and I think that you're overreacting a bit because you both know that you're in a relationship. But if it's bothering you that much, you should tell her again how you feel in a less joking manner.

I think it depends how serious you and her take myspace. if myspace is apart of both on your lives in a serious, day to day sense, where you guys talk to and become friends with people who are total strangers, then you may want to worry about why she doesnt want people to know that she is in a relationship. But if myspace is just a place where you guys log into to catch up with friends and people who you guys already know on a personal basis, then relationship status shouldnt matter that much....

I will start by saying this...I absolutely HATE my space. For so many reasons. One being that people seem to be living a fantasy on line with their my space pages. I have the same issue with my current BF. Its a real long story but to sum it up he was doing things on his my space page that I was upset by, like the single thing you mentioned, and he just shot back the most ridiculous answer...people take to much stock in my space. He tried to play me some time ago and his my space told me all along, the erasing of my pictures telling me he didnt want any pics up of anyone but him. The listing as in a relationship even after we agreed to take some time off, not for other relationships but for space, and he said he left it as in a relationship so no one would bother him, all along he had that becuause after we took a "time out" he jumped right into it with this girl he had put on his top friends list and swore he had no feelings for other than friendship. Yeah basically I could go on and on and on and on about the drama my space causes, but just be careful with this girl she doesnt sound sincere...

You should just tell her straight out that it kinda bothers you & you would like her to change it. Plus...don't you leave comments on her page sayin "Hey Babe..." or somethin like that? So it doesn't really matter kuz people can easily read your comments & say "Oh, she has a boyfriend". Kuz people don't usually fix that section of their myspace, so when other people read it, they don't really know if it's true or not. You guyz don't have a picture together on your guy'z myspace? You guyz should do that so people can SEE that you guyz are going out.

Maybe she doesnt like you, or she doesnt want people to know shes going out with you. Talk to her about it, ask her why she hasnt changed it, but this time say it seriously so she doesnt take you for granted.

Just tell her it really kind of bothers you. Without joking. Then maybe she'll understand.
