When you do a push up your shirt might hang a little bit, the shirts should touch the ground.

Some touch their chests, others touch their chins. I prefer the chest. Today you see men doing half push ups and calling them push ups. Real push ups are all the way up and all the way down, keeping the body straight. Push ups are a hard exercise. Men prefer to do bench presses, but push ups? Heck no. Why? Because four sets at 8 reps is far easier and more fun than struggling to max out push ups. I'd make sure you throw pull ups in there too. I like sit ups, pull ups, push ups and squats. I know dudes who can bench over 400 pounds who struggle to do even one pull up. Amazing but true.
