Here in Canada we steep our tea by letting the teabag release its flavour gradually into the boiling hot water instead of brutally crushing / squeezing the hell out of a teabag.

Large importers of tea blend tea for specific markets I am quite sure tea imported into the US is a slightly different blend to that available in Canada. JMHO

It is a different blend for Americans. Trust me, I live near the border and buy both. Canadian is much better.

Good for you Deb. I think it's more how you prepare it. Canadians prepare it the traditional way by boiling the water first. In the US we just microwave it and it ends up tasting like gnats pee.
