well, i guess if "better" is more noticed and vocal. it's a good thing that Atheists and other nonChristians be heard above the constant din of Christian propaganda. books like "God Delusion" seem rather strident and pushy but maybe that's the only way to get heard nowadays. loudly squeaking wheels like Rush Limbaugh sure get the message out for the Fundies.

I am a Christian and in my eyes Athiest have never had a good or bad reputation. They are just like every one else, they just dont accept that God exists for their own reaseons.

I think the knowledge within a person's heart and intuition will always trump any best-seller, especially those regarding things we don't really "know," like whether god exists.

I am NOT a Christian, BTW.

and what are you trying to prove? Make your voice louder? Not getting enough attention?
You have free will. Throw your voice out screaming to the world your beliefs. It just means that atheists have no plans at death. Once life ends after so many years, you go to the grave. What a thrill.

What gets me is atheists spend all their life fighting what they believe doesn't exist. That is illogical.

No, I don't think it's getting better or worse. Atheists are just more vocal than they used to be.
